What? Trudy was the one who had family money, not Pete. |
Agree, PP. I've been "over" this show for the past couple of seasons, but I've invested so much time in it that I have to see it to the end. Best season IMO: The Anna Draper season -- whatever year that was. |
I think you posted on the wrong thread by accident. |
Trudy was attracted to Pete's family name. He came from old money/"a good family". |
| I think it is starting to get better now. I am glad That Don is back. I am excited to see what happens next. Let's face it, this is the last season, they should go all out. |
| I hope it gets better because this season is just a drag. How many times did we have to see Peggy and the roses. It was almost like a sitcom with a repeating track there - but not funny, and not even good drama. Serious waste of my time. I would like to have that hour back. |
No, Pete comes from money too. |
| Pete's father died and left his widow, Pete's mother, very little money. His is an old family that once had money. |
| 8:14 Season Four. I love that season. |
|
Anna first appears in season 2 and dies in season 4.
The episode of her death is the finest episode of MM. |
This did not happen until after Pete and Trudy had married, which was virtually the very first episode of the series. Trudy had every expectation of Pete inheriting a lot of money. |
Right. Pete's bachelor's party is in the pilot. After that, he drunkenly comes to Peggy's door and she lets him in. In the next episode, Pete's on his honeymoon. |
Pete has no money. |
She loved the sea... |
WHOOOSH....the point flying over your head. |
