Yes, that was in one of the reviews I posted: http://tomandlorenzo.com/2014/05/mad-men-the-strategy/

Nice recap, do they have that for each episode? off to look. I'd like one to cover the merger/creation of the new agency.

Not only that, they do a "Mad Style" post on wednesdays that analyzes the clothing and how it supports the story. If you ever have a few hours to kill, the archives make great reading.

I just discovered that. It is FABULOUS!

She looks amazing!

What ever happened to her husband. Did they actually divorce or permanetly separate? Had it in my head he died in the war, think that was wishful thinking. Why doesn't she marry Roger?

I think they're divorced? I feel like Joan was served with divorce papers at the office. And Roger fucked everything up so irrevocably between them that she has no interest in him anymore.

Ah, that rings a bell. Usually I don't think a woman can make or change a man but I think Joan could of Roger.

It was when this happened:

Roger had Thanksgiving dinner at Joan's apartment at the end of season six. They're are decent terms this season. The show hasn't really gotten into their dynamic.

EWWWWW!!!!!!! No way! He is like a father to her and she is the closest thing he has to family, other than Stephanie.

They have a father/daughter relationshop for sure. Her head on his shoulder was not sexual.

Agree.

I LOVED this episode. Bob was epic. Peggy and Fon back on the same side just feels so good. (They will not kiss; it's not romantic but rather friendship.) The final scene was great. It made me think back across the arc of their respective relationships. They've come a long way! Joan looks good thinner. I also loved her response to Bob's sad proposal. Megan and Don are done. Can't wait to see Don pitch Burger Chef!

Don and Peggy worked together as equals.

But I have to say, Peggy's story has had me engrossed all season and I was so pleased that it went in the direction that it did tonight. Of course, now that we're up to the mid season finale, no doubt all the pieces will get jumbled around again.

I think she showed up in a good faith effort to try to make it work, but realized she isn't happy in NY and Don isn't happy in LA, so she suggested they "meet somewhere away from all the distractions" as a last ditch effort to save their marriage. However, it is clear to me that the marriage is over. She was VERY happy on the plane ride home.

They are donesies.

I think her looking happy on the way home meant that she thinks things are fine between Don and herself. Don doenst' think so, from what he had said to Peggy, that he doesn't have anyone.

I also noticed that Megan cut her hair to how it used to look -- that is symbolic that she is trying to make it work, she had that hair back when they got along.

Thought it was a beautiful, tender scene. Well played, directed, music... everything!

Those were extensions...her hair changed lengths last episode, too!
