I also live in 20001. Prices are MUCH higher now than 2006. On our block top prices in 2006 were close to $400k. They are now close to $800k. (And we live in a part of 20001 where there aren't the huge 4 story homes). I bought in 2003 for $200k.


I live in 20001 too. We bought a fully renovated ouse in 2006 and its appreciated 200K. We didn't do anything - the neighborhood has radically improved.
