NP. There are only a few posts in the thread from 1990's buyers. The area in general was affordable to the Average Joe (not talking DCUMies, here) in those days. Note the 1982 purchaser whose got a ten bagger in her house? She earned it, though, zip 20001 was pretty much like Bagdad in those days, so the equity reflects revitalization + housing bubble. |

We did a ton of work (new kitchen, baths, roof, addition, etc.) but our house, and similar ones in the neighborhood, are being sold for $1.5 M plus and are being torn down. |
