did a 200k renovation and I work part time wife doesn't work. We like our lifestyle that way. The interesdt rate is so low it is almost like free money

was contacted by a real estate agent last month who offered $2 million for it, but we're here at least another 6-7 years

And for those who are depressed by this thread - don't be. When we bought in 2002 our elderly neighbor told us we overpaid, it was a bubble, we'd lose money, etc., etc. He was wrong. A good location with good schools will always have value.

Nothing like a know it all that knows nothing. You would think people would be grateful for their timing. (I'm talking about the busy body neighbor you mention, PP.)

Do you understand that most of us didn't buy these as our first homes?

Many of us bought condos/townhomes first and traded up.
