Then again, I think this is now considered common knowledge. Maybe it doesn't qualify as "hiding" anymore. After all, half the players already gave their interviews to Frontline years ago. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/iraq/etc/script.html |
| Wow how did these conservatives pay for their war of neoconservatism? |
A mixed-race community activist has been in the White House for the last five years. Probably more punishment than jail for them. |
The sentence above SHOULD read: A community activist with no experience governing has been in the White House for the last five years. Probably more punishment than jail for the citizens of our country. |
A majority of Americans twice chose him. It's hardly punishment to us. |
| George W. was also elected twice. |
No. He was selected once and elected once. |
Yes, I distinctly remember the economy collapsing in his last year of office. Mission Accomplished! |

More to the story about why they didn't keep the military teams in Libya. Goes back to State. |
Actually, it looks like it goes back to Leon Panetta. |
| or lack of communication and understanding between State and DoD. |
This has to be the most bewildering thing I have yet read. The guy basically said Chris Stevens didn't speak his mind, and then made a bunch of excuses as to why he couldn't. Protocol required him to decline Ham's requests? WTF? What he isn't saying that is the elephant in the room: We have trouble getting status of forces agreements because of the abuses our military committed in Iraq and Afghanistan. That's why this thing got screwed up. They figured the CIA people could cover until it was all worked out, and that plan failed. |
Or because the Obama administration doesn't know how to negotiate. |
No, it's definitely the abuses. Bush ran into the same problem. He was forced to accept a 2012 withdrawal timeline in exchange for a new SOFA in Iraq; otherwise they were going to kick us out Dec 2008. This for a President who swore to never set a timeline was a big defeat. You can't do this and expect people to forget:
|
| Biden was in charge of negotiating a new SOFA--do you think he really wanted one? I don't. |
