Subway because the veggies are consistently on the verge of rotting and because I like Jersey Mike's much better.

Chick-fil-A because my kids are consciences objectors.

Because of the anti-gay and breastfeeding stances?

Wow! I didn't realize they still existed. I used to love those things!

My brother still eats them -- I'm always screaming at him that he's too old for that shit, but he doesn't care. Oh, to be a man.

We did not have exactly that but did anyone else's mom slit hot dogs, fill with velveeta and wrap in pillsbury crescent rolls? Bale for 15 mins at 375 I think. A very balanced meal, especially with canned corn and fruit cocktail!

Another extinct dish: "creamed" corn, which I think involved saltines and evaporated milk in addition to canned creamed corn...

I can't believe it was ever successful. We still eat it, but we call it bread crumbs and seasoning.

Any one remember Chicken Tonight? I loved that stuff.

I totally forgot about Chicken Tonight! It was quite tasty.

I saw them in 7-11 the other day as I purchased my slurpee (at least it was a sugar-free slurpee)

I don't think they heard about the breastfeeding incident but they know all too well about the anti-gay stuff. While the kids are fairly young they have several friends with same sex parents.

Chicken from a can
Creamed chipped beef on toast

All staples of my youth! And yes, I was a poor.

We weren't even close to poor and I ate all those things. I still love Kraft American Cheese slices!

I've never had canned chicken of creamed chipped beef on toast, but didn't everyone eat bologna and individually-wrapped American cheese slices on Wonder Bread in the 1970s? I recall that one set of my grandparents only at whole wheat bread and cereals, low fat ice cream (they called it "ice milk"), fresh fruits and vegetables from a farmer's market, and plain yogurt with fruit or a little honey. Nothing came out of the freezer or a can, ever. In the seventies, my siblings and I used to joke about how weird and gross their eating habits were.
