foods we no longer eat

We eat canned beans, canned fruit (mostly the water-packed peaches in smoothies and pineapple for pineapple upside down cake or an addition to stir fry or pizza). The only canned vegetables we eat are tomatoes, beets, artichokes, and olives.

I also occasionally make velveeta shells and cheese because DH likes it. It's not terrible but I prefer sharper cheese.

We eat marshmallow fluff in baking recipes, and sometimes buy hostess baked goods, and will stop at McDonalds on a road trip or if our kid has been good and wants a happy meal. I'll get something there too some of the time. Holla, McChicken!

I don't eat pork or red meat so I don't eat bologna but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate. I do eat those little turkey cocktail weiners in the crockpot classic mixed with grape jelly and chili sauce.

We eat white rice and regular pasta because we like it infinitely better than the chewy, nutty brown varieties. We hate dark chocolate, because COME ON you're not fooling anyone.

We try to eat healthy most of the time. We drink organic milk, eat tofu and lentils and soy chicken nuggets and whole grain breads. We eat tons of fruits and veggies, and have colorful, home made meals on the regular. We make apple sauce and breads and pickles and soups and marinara and lots of other things from scratch, often with foods we've grown ourselves.

We are healthy, normal weights with good cholesterol profiles, and we eat dessert most nights. We know that little fluffernutter or kraft single never hurt anyone. Neither did two kraft singles.

Many of you sound uptight as heck!

We could be really good friends. We eat red meat a couple times a week too!
