Was your mother a "yeller," how did it affect you?

My mom was not only a yeller but she would also curse you out in a heartbeat. Of course she doesnt remember any of it. She's just a sweet old grandma now.

Someone who flies off the handle at anything and everything is no fun to be around that is for sure.

I don't know which is worse - Being yelled at for anything and everything. Or getting The Silent Treatment every time you do something they don't approve of.

Neither extreme is good. But honestly I think I would take a yeller over the silent treatment type. At least with a yeller you know what the heck you did wrong...
