Jewelry is cheap and breaks easily. Don't ever buy it
|
I recently got roped into one of these parties and I felt like I was in an SNL skit. It was ridiculous. The stuff is cute, but the quality, for the price, was a joke. |
Junk. Sold by losers. |
Shop etsy. Type in what you want e.g. "bubble necklace" and go to town. Prices are much better and quality can be excellent. |
I have a green necklace and a pair of earrings the backs don't fit would like a return address posted I just would like to exchange them and try again. expensive in my book but I have them so now I would like to be able to use them. |
above comment the necklace should be silver but kept in a plastic baggie and still turned green!!! |
what is your return address?? |
I cannot believe all of the negativity regarding this jewelry.
I love jewelry and Stella and Dot has beautiful pieces. For those of you complaining, you can return it. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They immediately send you a replacement. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I do not sell it, I love it. What store can you return a piece of costume jewelry if it is broken? HELLO.......................... |
You could probably return broken costume jewelry to Kohl's. Which is where I buy very cheap but trendy/cute stuff that looks a little better than S&D, and I spend less than $5 on it and consider it disposable, wear it a few times and if it tarnishes into the trash it goes, lol. I think a lot of the S&D stuff is cheap and tacky. Some things look nice but will tarnish quickly and definitely not worth the price. Sorry S&D reps. |
You would think a nice "thank you" note should come from the stylist/friend upon purchase...Instead all I get is an invite to another party. I'm done purchasing products to maintain friendships. |
I love Stella & Dot parties! So fun! And the jewelry is high-quality and gorgeous. You can also order from their website--you don't have to go to a party. But you might be surprised how much you enjoy it--I was! |
Well, if that doesn't sound like a S&D PR person... |
S and D is a joke. I had no idea what I was getting into going to a "party" but the jewelry is 1) hideous and 2) cheap. Seriously the taste factor is in the toilet. I feel like the target demographic is probably suburban suburban housewives. But then again I'm a suburban housewife and I never want to see the necklace I bought again. You can get far better prices from somewhere like anthro or etsy. |
While I do agree about the target area, I have gotten a few nice pieces. I really liked the new bags, which are actually great quality. I also love the studs and more delicate pieces. Some can be INCREDIBLY tacky, but I have found a few pieces that I really like. Etsy however is always pretty good quality. I just have to say though my S and D is pretty cute considering I have gotten a ton of compliments off my necklaces and rings. |
oh my cute |
