| Capital 44 spots, 22 blue and 22 orange |
| 44 open spots is a lot of movement coming from the 2030 class. BLC2030 will be gone and most of teams in the DC area will look drastically different. |
| No doubt |
There aren’t really 44 open slots, most if not all of the Middle School academy players have a spot penciled in so there are really only 14-15 slots. There are probably 4-6 players that have one of those spots that also likely have a spot at an MD club so that could put another 4-6 spots in play. Also, four of the 44 spots will go to goalies but I don’t have much insight into the goalie situation in the DMV. |
For sure.Girls with college dreams are not staying. |
| Does anyone know who the coaches for capital blue and orange are? Is that relevant? Or do players just ride the coattails of the Capital name and the caliber of the players who make it? |
BLC goalie and one of the STARS goalies (the one that made AS) likely have the blue spots easily. |
Ride the coattails and don’t ask questions. Although if recent history repeats itself, anticipate a regular Capital coach in rotation or (maybe with) a former Stars coach they are bringing over. |
They can stay and will be just fine if the girls want it. |
| Is Breslin going to move with the 2030 BLC blue girls and coach capital Blue? Since he's the only parent allowed to watch clinics and walks around with a clip board, seems like he is posed for a coaching type position. |
No, but he is clearly part of the evaluation process. BLC and Capital have a partnership. |

| I wouldn’t be surprised if some girls went off to a Baltimore teams open practice to see if that move would be good for them. Also some that might be penciled in for capital may defect to Baltimore. |

We know of girls trying several open practices and also considering capital, they will take the best offer they get. There should be a lot of movement this summer |
