It is interesting for sure. They are a mess. It does seem like Kate and William are trying very hard to be as stable and boring as possible for this reason.

Oh, is that why Kate and William rarely leave their new 140-acre lodgings to do work? Kate's worked 6 days since Christmas, and William's barely worked more.

Who cares? Even if you take away everything owned by the “crown” and the sovereign grant, they are still personally loaded.

Translation: I really, really don't want to talk about Andrew, whom even I can see is a trafficker and close Epstein buddy, and how the BRF is shielding him. So instead let's talk about how much we should all hate Meghan. Or, if you won't let me do that, let's talk about how Kate and William's laziness is irrelevant because they're so great, you guys.

Who decided this was only about Andrew? You?

I have never seen the same level of vitriol for Andrew/Sarah as has been displayed against Harry/Meghan.

One literally cavorts with pedophiles and the other is outspoken & biracial. It's crazy to see the dissonance.

He accused William of shoving him. Accused Kate of not wanting to hug or share lip gloss with Meghan, and also of “making Meghan cry” and they accused some unnamed person of asking about the baby’s skin color.

Well, none of it's exactly a hanging offense is it?

Of course not. But he’s definitely airing dirty laundry, and doing so intentionally. Surely you can see where this would create distrust?

Yes, however, if I were his parent, nothing in there would keep me from establishing a relationship with his children. All the more if I think is wife is a bit off. What's missing seems to be the warmth and caring towards him and his children, which is made all the more sad because he lost his mother so young and was so vulnerable, in a way Will wasn't as an older kid.

DP. +1. Apparently it was Kate who made Meghan cry over the bridesmaids' dresses, although someone on the Waleses' team leaked to the public that Meghan made Kate cry. Harry found Meghan on the kitchen floor in tears and Kate came around with flowers and an apology the next day. So when KP went out in public to lie about something the Sussexes hadn't spilled publicly, surely the Sussexes are entitled to set the public record straight.

Harry has said a few times that he left 400 pages of Spare on the cutting room floor because they were too incendiary. Part of me wants him to publish them after Charles dies, especially if William continues to be a complete jerk to the Sussexes and to manipulate the British press against them.

If I were a princess getting married with a $1M diamond tiara on my head (or someone who already had completed that feat), I would not be fighting with my future SIL about hugs, lip gloss, or bridesmaid dress hems. And crying about it. No matter who did what to who.

Some days I'm embarrassed for womankind

I think Megan was actually upset about the drama with her dad and she directed her emotions at Kate, who was right in front of her. I'm sure the bridesmaid dress situation was frustrating but it shouldn't have blown up like this. I gather Meagan thought everyone should lay off of her bc of the stuff with her dad, but she chose to have a big second white wedding to a prince so SHE should have been understanding that some things need to be a certain way, no matter what was going on with her personally. Sometimes you have to dig deep and pull it together, and she seems to lack internal resources to do that.

Yes, this is really stupid stuff for Kate's fangirls to want to discuss instead of Andrew.

Back to the thread topic.

Is the BRF shielding Andrew? I think there's a lot more Charles could do to force Andrew to sit down with the Met and/or the FBI. Charles could refuse to give Andrew that new house, instead of fixing it up for him. He could cut off Andrew's finances, including Andrew's utility bills and spending money. Charles could stop paying for Andrew's security. Heck, Charles could cut off Andrew's access to the royal horse stables.

So why isn't Charles doing any of this? And why isn't William, who's basically telling the world that he's already king in everything but name, calling for any of this?

Andrew/Sarah are old and British and people don't relate to them or care about them. We'd rather talk about an American contemporary. Why is that so hard to figure out?

I think Megan was actually upset about the drama with her dad and she directed her emotions at Kate, who was right in front of her. I'm sure the bridesmaid dress situation was frustrating but it shouldn't have blown up like this. I gather Meagan thought everyone should lay off of her bc of the stuff with her dad, but she chose to have a big second white wedding to a prince so SHE should have been understanding that some things need to be a certain way, no matter what was going on with her personally. Sometimes you have to dig deep and pull it together, and she seems to lack internal resources to do that.

OMG. OK, here we go. Meghan had a tailor waiting ready at KP, just a few steps away from Kate. Meghan told Kate to get her staff to take the bridesmaid's dress to the tailor. Problem solved. Or so you'd think, but Kate kept refusing to do that. Maybe Meghan was having a tough week, not to mention planning a high-profile wedding. But Kate was being frustrating. You'd think Kate could have asked the nearest flunky to take Charlotte and the dress to the tailor who was, again, waiting on call a few steps away. Why not?

Can we talk about Andrew now?

What is this fan fiction? None of the dresses, even the bride's, fit well. This magical tailor didn't seem to exist.

The topic is also, quite clearly stated in the OP, why the royals themselves are trash. Andrew would seem to be first place in the trash pile, but OP seems to be referring to "royals" in the plural.

The tailor absolutely existed, just steps away from Kate, Kate's nannies, and the dress. Go back to your hate sub.

I'm with you 100%. One couple is supporting themselves independently with, apparently, tens of millions of dollars in sales of jam and candles. That same couple hasn't spoken about the BRF in four years now (since 2022).

Andrew/Sarah were BFFs with Epstein and participated knowingly in an international pedophile ring.

WtheactualF? Why can't we talk about the second couple? Because pp finds them "old" and "boring"???

Because they are all just hoping that Andrew will fade slowly into the background again. I mean, he's old. He's not very adaptable. Yes, they could make him start paying his own bills and such, but it's hard when you're old already. I tried to get my mom to learn to do all of that at 78 and she was terrible at it. Setting him loose in the UK to find a flat to rent and pay his own light bill isn't going to end well. If he gives him some measure of help, he can use it as a way to get him to behave. I don't blame him. Let's just be glad he's not the King. That would be very messy.

Thread topic is also why the royals themselves are trash. Reread the OP.

We get it. You're terrified of any discussion about what Charles and William could actually do to get Andrew to sit down with the Met and the FBI to have a reckoning about his own behavior, and to help them understand Epstein's network.

One literally cavorts with pedophiles and the other is outspoken & biracial. It's crazy to see the dissonance.

Are you still baffled why you can't get this conversation going? Nobody cares.
