He is just in the receiving end of the tabloid drama that is in many ways controlled by the royal family.
But you are right, they are trashy and always have been. Even Charles said to his wife ‘Did you think I was going to be the first Prince of Wales to not have a mistress?’

He accused William of shoving him. Accused Kate of not wanting to hug or share lip gloss with Meghan, and also of “making Meghan cry” and they accused some unnamed person of asking about the baby’s skin color.

Well, none of it's exactly a hanging offense is it?

Of course not. But he’s definitely airing dirty laundry, and doing so intentionally. Surely you can see where this would create distrust?

funny to see this as i just watched the documentary. i found myself going back and forth between feeling sorry for H and thinking he was tasteless for what he said about his family. and also so self centered to think the rest of us care about his first world problems. i couldn't feel sorry for M. sorry, I just could not. so self centered. i do feel sorry for their kids. but they will be ok.

M complains about her dad going to the media, but then she shared their private texts? it's only ok when she does it?! make it make sense!

Oh, agree 💯. But Andrew probably knows things that could bring down Trump, and that's a great reason to get Andrew to sit down with investigators. Who wouldn't want that?

Oh right, anyone who is worried the investigation would extend into who in the BRF knew what, when. And royal bootlickers who think the monarchy is perfect and should never be questioned anyway.

I'm glad Kate and William are finally concerned given the fact that they like hanging out with him.

This pic is from AFTER Andrew stepped down as a working royal in 2023.

+1. Also, William took Andrew in his private plane to Balmoral as the late Queen was dying, but left Harry on the ground 1/2 hour away. Another journo says Kate and William said they would rather have Andrew as a neighbor than Harry and Meghan.

Who is a bigger threat to William? Creepy Uncle Randy Andy or his brother who sold him out?

So you think it's OK that William shoved Harry into a dog bowl, but not OK that Harry wrote about it? And you also think that William and Kate's team briefing lies about Meghan's bridesmaids' dresses is OK, but it's not OK for Harry to write about that?

Well, some posters here have unusual moral compasses, I guess.

Wait what were the lies about the bridesmaid dresses? I can't keep up.

Kate threw a hissy fit over Charlotte not wearing tights with her dress to the point that she made Kate cry, the media reported it as Meghan made Kate cry, Kate acknowledged privately that she was in the wrong (per Meghan) but never publicly said Meghan didn't make her cry.

Oh I thought you had something new. Who cares? Apparently she apologized to Meagan and brought her flowers. The RF never makes comments on their personal lives. Meagan got to go on Oprah and say her piece, and Harry got to write about it in a book.

You asked what the lies were and I was telling you. That poster never said it was new gossip and I never did either.

Except they do make comments on their personal lives. Remember when Kate felt the need to issue a correction that she wasn't wearing extensions but had had surgery as a kid? But she couldn't issue a correction that her sister-in-law hadn't made her cry?

Did Meghan ever clear the air about why the Kardashians had to take down the pics of her? What's the difference? and Kate talking about her own hair is completely different than commenting on a feud with another person.

Meghan didn't because Kim Kardashian did.

Kim shouldn't have said anything, she is a case study in what NOT to do if you want to be taken seriously. Meagan and Harry asked for the photos to be taken down and nothing else needed to happen. We had all forgotten about it until Kim inexplicably went on that tangent about the whole thing.

Or we could just get Clinton to do the same here. Or Gates or any of the many others. Why not them?

Oh FFS. Meghan sued the tabloids over publishing her private texts and emails to her dad. And she won.

Of note, William let his henchman Jason Knauf break his NDA to submit evidence against Meghan, evidence nobody in the court had even asked for. Again, Meghan won. But William knighted Knauf two years later. You decide what happened there.

Well because the rumor was that she did it without permission. Why wouldn't she want to clear the air? She exposed the lie.

Because sometimes you just have to be a little above it all. And if that's the point she really desperately needed to make, she could have issued a one sentence statement through her publicist. She didn't need to ramble unchecked on a podcast. If I were Meagan, I would be annoyed too.

Absolutely the Clintons, Gates, and the rest should testify. But this Republican/MAGA Congress will never do that. We'll need to wait until after the midterms when the Dems take the House. And Andrew probably has a different set of facts, so he should also testify.

In what world does Bill Clinton testifying mean that Andrew should be off the hook? Because Andrew is royal?

They haven't ever been from what I can see, but the point I was making is that "clearing the air" in the press over interpersonal matters never ends well. Someone mentioned the Kim clearing the air incident and my comment is that her "clearing the air" didn't make anyone look better. Heck, Kim is media savvy, maybe she was even trying to put Meagan back in her place in the Hollywood pecking order for some perceived slight.

Anonymous wrote:Kate has a very carefully curated public image so it's hard to find fault with her. She's milquetoast. I think people forget how she was raked through the press as Waity Katie and for her "common" roots, before she was married. I'm old enough to remember the stories of William's school friends saying "doors to manual" when Kate entered a room bc her mom used to be a flight attendant. Who knows if that's true, but that's what Kate got picked on for.

Now you don't really see anything but a thin, polished, restrained middle aged woman. There's just not that much material there people!

There's lots of complaining in Britain about how Kate's lazy and doesn't use her platform to champion serious causes. Instead she comes out once every other week and did that insipid "Seasons" video series with her voiceover reminding us there are four seasons and that connecting with people is good, or something something. If Kate could go on international ski vacations twice last year (at least) and once this year (so far), she's healthy enough to get back to work.

Diana worked hard, snuck into hospices before dawn without publicity, and used the same platform to touch AIDS patients and walk through landmine zones.

Kate has done what is most important in that she produced three heirs. Don't underestimate how important this to royalty.

For example, the Japanese royal family has a succession crisis. The Emperor and his wife only had one daughter and girls can't inherit the throne. So the crown is being passed down to a nephew.

All three of Kate's kids are in school full-time now. She can get off her a$$ and do some work. Instead, the Waleses took seven international vacations last year (that we know of) and are off to a good start this year with one international ski vacation already. (And if she's well enough for all this skiing, she's well enough to work.) For VJ Day, which is practically a holy day in Britain with senior royals always attending the August ceremony, the Waleses tweeted a mispelled message to veterans from their vacation. Kate and William snagged another massive "forever home" last year and kicked dog walkers and a children's educational nature center off their new property. Don't think the British public, which is suffering from a housing crisis and very high heating bills, hasn't noticed.

Giving birth is basically the minimum job requirement.

The poster(s?) claiming that Charles' and William's expressions of "deep concern" combined with sending Andy off to a comfy 4-bedroom home are sufficient.

What is else do you want them to do other than cooperate with law enforcement when the time comes? This is a real question. Do you think they are withholding evidence?
