Its not just about he bridges. The main streets in Georgetown/Palisades were impacted for 2 hours.

Do you know how many protests and demonstrations there are in DC every year? If this was disruptive (the monks’ presence was not large at all), blame the police responsible for street closures or those who issued the permit.

The monks have the same right to walk along the street as you have to drive. Consider that.

They quite literally put out their exact route from TX to DC. Somethings changed along the way.

9:00 a.m. – Walk for Peace continues in Maryland, starting from the Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
10:00–10:45 a.m. – Peace gathering at the Maryland State Capitol
12:30 p.m. – Departure for Fort Worth, Texas

thanks for this, but if we're looking to see them along their route, how do we find out what that is? I'd rather wave to them while they're walking than go join crowds at the Lincoln or Cathedral.
