Tibetan Monks Walk for Peace

Doesn’t look like their walk did much for peace. Even here at DCUM we’re butching at each other in this very thread.

Thanks to this thread, I actually went to Lincohn Memorial to pay my respect to the walking monks. It was quite touching to see them bare footed walking on icy road. I was also surprised to see the big crowd gathering to participate in the closing celebration. People were friendly and happy. Peace!!

I realize I need to stop coming to DCUM because I react. Maybe in a while this can be part of my peaceful day but I am just getting started walking for peace.

Who’s against peace? Nobody. This is march for a cause nobody disagrees with. Not exactly the bravest thing you can do.
