It was ED, that wouldn't apply. (NP) |
That may be true but don’t think that there aren’t students admitted to UVA that don’t have the 1500+ scores to go along with the grades (and AP scores too). My kid being one albeit at a different high FARMS school in Nova. |
This, and even higher ranked schools. |
Yes, absolutely. I was focused on UVA but yes. |
|
EA because no supplemental.
Withdrew bc got into ED elsewhere. |
| Do UVA care about EC’s or is it just just GPA? |
Thankyou |
Say it with me: sustained performance in the classroom. That’s what Dean J repeatedly says is the most important factor. |
This. Regarding ECs, I would add leadership roles in ECs are important too. President of school clubs weighs less than say, assistant manager at a job they have held for a few years. |
TJ kid applied ED. |
?? ED = early decision. Not early action. Would’ve been committed to UVA. |
They claim not to care about yield but honestly they should be admitting almost half of TJ. |
Sort of. It's also harder to get the rigor at the small pond. |
There is enough UVA-level-rigor in the small ponds. |
| What are the chances for a student with 4.0, UW & 4.36 gpa? Magnet school similar to TJ. Unique EC |
