| The Big10 is Ohio State and the rest who cares. Now the SEC is another story. ND vs USC is tradition. |
The Bucknut has spoken. |
The University of Michigan vs tOSU has a longer tradition than USC-ND. It’s also a more intense rivalry, but you knew that already didn’t you? |
Meh - No one cares about ND and USC anymore. |
lol. Is it the 80's or 90's? |
+1. In the new age of college football and the transfer portal there will now always be more parity now in college football year after year. No more college dynasties. A thing of the long past. I mean look at your current Top 10. It's a new era. 1. Ohio State 2. Indiana 3. Texas A&M 4. Alabama 5. Georgia 6. Oregon 7. Georgia Tech 8. Ole Miss 9. Miami 10. Vanderbilt |
It is a new era. Notre Dame, USC, and Michigan are relics from a bygone time. This is the age of Vanderbilt football - as we all predicted. |
You have a very short memory. Notre Dame was in the National Championship game last year against Ohio State. They are currently ranked 12 and will continue to move up as they are predicted to win the rest of their games and someone in the top 10 will lose games. Go Irish. |
That was a mirage. Look at the years before that. They are a decent team this year but should not be in the Top 10. Will they make it into it?. Perhaps, but again it will be because of how they schedule. If they do make playoffs, which is doubtful, it will be a quick exit. They need to join a conference IMHO. |
| ND knows they would never make the playoffs again if they were in the SEC or BIG. This is why they play the schedule game and refuse to join a major conference. They want complete flexibility in how they schedule for a reason. BIG seems like a likely landing spot for them, but they will never do it. |
Bookmarking this so I can come back to you when ND makes the playoffs later this season. |
|
When ND goes to a Conference it will be the ACC. The Irish want to associate with like minded high income types at Duke and Stanford not the Walmart crowd of the Big10(exception of Northwestern).
|
I said with the soft scheduling it's possible. But, they will not get far even if they do. Yes you can bookmark this.
|
| ND’s profile of less than 9,000 undergrads, $20billion endowment and top20 US News ranking eliminates both SEC and BIG10. |
That's what they said last year. This is college football...lots of moving parts and anything can happen. |
