Trump is already weakening US economic power. Blue states want to preserve what they have built over the past 250 years. Maybe if the GOP treated the country as one, rather than being divisive and derisive of the "liberal bubble" which is, in fact, more cosmopolitan and accepting of different cultures and lifestyles, we would be in a better place, oh well.

California is the largest agricultural state. And it doesn’t just produce corn and soybeans like most of the other large agricultural states.

Not really. Nost of the food grown in the midwest are cash crops for export or corn to make artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup. The midwest does not really feed the country and if you were an actual American, you would know that.

NY, CA, MD, PA, WA, NH all have good agricultural and seafood production. We’ll be fine.

Regardless of who promoted the idea originally, breaking up the US or at least providing regional autonomy makes a lot of sense. There’s also precedence, for example Quebec/Canada, Catalonia/Spain, Scotland/UK. Also the voluntary dissolution of Czechoslovakia in the 1990’s. Honestly it’s the only realistic alternative we have given how hopelessly divided we are along tribal and cultural fault lines.

And then once you have that you’ll seek ways to divide yourselves further.
