If Democrats were smart, they would lower the federal income tax to 5%, equalize earned income and capital gains rates (both at 5%), establish progressive tax brackets for the corporate tax rate (create a real wedge between Big Business and SMEs), raise their state income taxes by a corresponding amount, and then let Red States deals with the fallout.

Ok, and red states will need money and jobs.  We can give money in exchange for food.  Democrats are fine with free trade, we aren’t the fool cheering for tariffs and kidnapping foreigners. [/quote]
