My DC got an email @7:30pm last night to check the portal. Accepted to Dietrich. Applied 8/1.

They did submit scores. 1550+ and top rigor 4.5+. We also had a great visit, so very excited. I hope everyone gets news soon!

Congrats! Did they get merit?

Merit doesn't usually come out until November or December. You get a separate email. My kid got accepted mid September last year but didn't get merit notification until December. $10,000 a year OOS.

Merit consideration is separate from admissions decisions at Pitt. Different committee, different timeline. Merit consideration doesn’t even start until October.
