It's probably unlikely that they have the capability to do this. These team/club systems are typically ephemeral in the contact info they have and if you are no longer with the team, your contact info is no longer in the system.

It’s difficult to believe they can’t look up old email addresses from old emails. But, maybe you’re correct.

The issue is, the emails are all within the team/club system management and if you are no longer part of the team, you are no longer going to be in the system.

These are not group emails w/ everyone's address listed on the "To:" or "Cc:" field - the systems manage the lists internally. So what you are imaging as possible, simply isn't... the old emails don't have this information.

I don't know the specifics of how ASA or the MVP summer team manages their family communications but I do know how these systems work in general and it wouldn't be surprising to me if they simply didn't have the means to a) know who was a member 2 or 3 years ago and b) even if they did, would have their contact info

Sounds like you’re making excuses for them. If they really wanted to find these email addresses, they’d be able to do it.

The MVP community knew him well - he photographed the majority if not all of the kids for multiple seasons at practices and meets. Not sure if he volunteered in other capacities.

Sounds like you've never managed a large dynamic group that changes year to year.

Disturbing. Police need to search his computer’s hard drive.

Search is not generating any results. Any tips?

Google DC Superior Court

Click on menu from the dc superior court homepage in the upper right hand corner. Then, click services->online resources->search cases online->learn more (under superior court heading)->search in eaccess->then type in their password to show you’re not a robot, then type in the case number. This should get you there to access the witness interviews, affidavit, etc.

Tomorrow there's another status hearing.

Hard to imagine he wasn't at least a timer at some point.

Sounds like a legal defense strategy that won’t win your team a case in a courtroom.

He regularly volunteered as a timer for ASA's meets.

That’s frightening that he was right next to kids on the pool deck during meets.

He kissed her on the vagina. A child reported it in 2023 but our system failed them. Since then, he abused a 7 year old girl (digitally penetrated her and tried to get her to touch his penis) and a 9 year old boy (rubbed his penis).

If your child was ever alone with Thomas Mahony, please talk with them to make sure they weren't abused.

Lock him up!

Hard to imagine he won't be, but he has a very good criminal defense attorney. How she can represent him is beyond me. The thought of him getting off with little to no jail time is truly frightening.

Who is the lawyer? I can’t stomach looking up the file.

She is aggressive. She will do her best to poke holes in the testimony of these young victims and sow doubt. Cosmic injustice.

One of his sons attended the ISCA meets which required overnight travel.

USA swimming has so many rules in place I am generally not concerned about anything happening on deck. Volunteers & spectators can’t even use the same bathrooms. It looks like this guy operates by grooming both the children and their parents. I would be concerned about the travel meets, and talking to those families.

According to the documents, all three victims were abused in his apartment after he gained the parent’s trust and left their children with him. If there are more victims, I bet it would be in a similar situation.
