It's probably unlikely that they have the capability to do this. These team/club systems are typically ephemeral in the contact info they have and if you are no longer with the team, your contact info is no longer in the system.

It’s difficult to believe they can’t look up old email addresses from old emails. But, maybe you’re correct.

RMSC is requiring that both parents and swimmers take the safesport training. I hope other clubs are moving in the same direction.

That means he might be on a diplomatic visa and as a result, might not face consequences. My friend at the World Bank is on a diplomatic visa.

Please use some common sense or at least do a google search before posting. This is not a parking ticket. This man committed a serious crime and his “consequences” will be the same as they would be for any US Citizen. US law does not make exceptions that allow foreign nationals to abuse children on US soil.

I sincerely hope he does not have diplomatic status. Even so, does diplomatic immunity cover child sex abuse?
I hope not.
The report is very disturbing. Poor kids, poor parents. Sounds like he offered to babysit neighbors' kids.
That apartment building is huge with many families. There could be more victims for sure.

ASA seems to have a lot of far away travel meets. From the meet results, Mahony’s kid went to those. Praying that Thomas Mahony didn’t do anything evil on those overnight trips.

If child molester Thomas Mahony somehow got away with this based on some sort of diplomatic immunity, I hope he’s not allowed to rejoin MVP Dolphins as the team photographer.

Do you really think he'll be allowed anywhere near this swim team ever again?

I hope he’s not allowed near the team. From the witness interviews, there were rumors of his predatory nature, but the parents of the second and third victims still gave him the benefit of the doubt. Sad.

I would not be shocked if Peeping Tom Mahony is on the Epstein List!!

Given a warrant was issued and he was arrested and charged, he is either no longer a diplomat or was not eligible for immunity in this case.

Search is not generating any results. Any tips?

Google DC Superior Court

Click on menu from the dc superior court homepage in the upper right hand corner. Then, click services->online resources->search cases online->learn more (under superior court heading)->search in eaccess->then type in their password to show you’re not a robot, then type in the case number. This should get you there to access the witness interviews, affidavit, etc.

The issue is, the emails are all within the team/club system management and if you are no longer part of the team, you are no longer going to be in the system.

These are not group emails w/ everyone's address listed on the "To:" or "Cc:" field - the systems manage the lists internally. So what you are imaging as possible, simply isn't... the old emails don't have this information.

I don't know the specifics of how ASA or the MVP summer team manages their family communications but I do know how these systems work in general and it wouldn't be surprising to me if they simply didn't have the means to a) know who was a member 2 or 3 years ago and b) even if they did, would have their contact info

Did ASA or MVP say whether he volunteered at meets? These meets usually rely on a lot of parent volunteers for timers, officials, etc.
