Wondering why you seem to think calling someone a grandma is an insult?

it’s basically just saying people that aren’t super good at understanding the internet/apps etc…This would include my own dad and in-laws. They can use the internet-sure, but not for more complicated things like the awful “pickup scheduling” that some people don’t even know is still going on. Even though it’s an option as big as anything else on the page when you are checking out at literally any store online.

Not the PP you're responding to, but I'm sure you'll find it inconceivable that some of us prefer to shop for ourselves because the shoppers never pick the right produce and don't care about looking for items very carefully. Not using pick up for everything is most certainly not because I don't know how. You should refrain from feeling superior over such dumb shit.

I park in pick up spots because they are closer to the entrance so I don’t have to cross a busy parking lot with my kids in tow. It’s safer.

I don't mind spending the extra 10 minutes to get better products and pay way less.

Imagine how much less whining you would do if you just had it delivered. Please spare us from ever having to deal with your highness.

Never have to leave my car.

Sounds awful.

My kids learn a lot when we shop together.

We’ll keep using the pickup spots, thanks.

I hope some mom who can’t park for a pick up when her kid is sick let’s her kid throw up all over your car door.

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAA someone is getting a bit ragey. I think it might be the lack of exercise.

Aren't these a vestige of Covid-times? I don't park in them, but want to! I'm just too much of a rule-abider, regrettably.

I mostly hate the ones outside restaurants. We didn't have those before Covid, even though people did take out. Why do we still need them?

We need them so lazy people like OP can feel needlessly superior.

these were definitely a thing before covid. I remember outback and all the like chains (chili’s etc…) having not only designated spots but a whole separate entrance for pickup. That was when I was in high school and I’m 43 so yeah-not just covid.
