Using pick up spots as regular parking spots.

Good lord. The vitriol over the most trivial of issues!

Our Target has too many pick-up spaces for a regular Tuesday, but the right amount for the weekend before Christmas. They have had canvas sign “cozies” made that they can pull off or put on according to how busy they think the pick-up spaces will be. When the signs are covered, they’re regular spaces. Uncovered, they’re used for pick-up. Seems like a reasonable solution.

Ugh I’ve had it with constantly making room for other people. Everyone is so special and has the hardest life ever such that they need an accommodation for the smallest thing.

I work too hard to go to the store.

My kid is SN so everyone in the restaurant has to abide by yelling and running in the restaurant.

My kid is autistic so everyone on the plane has to listen to paw patrol on full blast.

I didn’t buy an aisle seat but someone needs to give theirs up so my family can sit together.

I’m not handicapped but someone I’m related to is so I can park here.

I didn’t bring my headphones so everyone at the DMV. An just listen to my speaker phone.

Lots of people are sick and tired of it. This is just another example of how “special” everyone is. Enough already.

I see those folks have commented today that they simply don’t care and they will park wherever.

Ooooh how noble of you. Get over it.
Sometimes it’s okay to struggle and be inconvenienced.

Always trying to be a martyr. Again, it’s always the “thought”.

Not to mention that the people parked in those spaces could just as easily be moms of newborns. Such a moronic comment.

Yep.

Going back to “always” thinking about that mom that had a hard day….”, dude, who hasn’t had a hard day?!

Do you stop eating when you see the advertisements of the hungry children? Do you adopt an animal when you hear Sarah McLaughlin?

This has to be a joke, right? I used the pickup service once during covid and I was so embarrassed as the worker put the bag in my car. Just get the stuff delivered to your house if you can’t be bothered to walk into the store.

No, pickup is a service offered by the store and it is perfectly fine to use it. In fact, it reduces the whole “I went into Target for one tho by and ended up spending $200” DCUM loves to complain about. I love it for the grocery store as well, I only get what we need and nothing else. Very useful.

I don’t think you know what the term “martyr” means because you are using it backwards. A martyr would be someone who chooses to be inconvenienced even when they don’t have to in this situation. basically choosing to be inconvenienced merely for the sake of being inconvenienced. choosing the easier way would be the opposite of a martyr.

It takes me less than 5 minutes to do a pickup. I exercise 7 days a week-I’m fine saving time shopping. It’s offered as a service for a reason-because people use it. And that’s why the spots are there.

I’m not sure why so many of you seem to have a problem with this concept. No waiting in line, having everything ready for you etc…I mean why do you hate it? Also the times I have had an issue with a product (bad fruit, something expired etc…) it has been immediately credited and it’s a click of a button rather than having to go back to the store.

Some of you just like to be miserable. “I choose the harder way because I can!” Ok then. Choose the harder way-but park in a non pick up spot and shut up about it.

Oh, I don't care if people use the pickup option. You do you.

I'm just not bypassing a perfectly good parking spot in case you show up! I'm parking right in front in one of the 25+ "pickup" spots.

Sure. Just don’t expect any special treatment for it. In fact you should be at the back of the parking lot.

You realize it’s the store that chooses the pick up spots right? Because you sound confused. That is where the store needs the pick ups to park. They are numbered. It’s for an actual reason. That is how the system works.

The person whining is OP or haven’t you noticed. No one is saying don’t use the service. But you shouldn’t get angry when other people park in those spots because your laziness is not special.
