I know! These lazy people can't even be bothered to walk around the store. They need the peasants to deliver food to their car.

Are you talking about the ones sitting in their cars waiting for someone else to shop for them? In that case, I totally agree.

I’m not PP, but both. Do your body some good and walk.
1. Park
2. Get out of your vehicle.
3. Walk to the store.
4. Shop for your items.
5. Pay for your items.
6. Walk back to your vehicle.
7. Load your vehicle.
8. Get into your vehicle.
9. Safely drive away.

That wasn’t too hard, now was it?

If it’s an available service, I’m using it. MYOB

imagine how much safer it would be if you never had to leave the car with them-ya know and actually use the pick up spot for what it’s for.

Its healthy for kids development to run errands and learn how to grocery shop. Way better than staring at their screens in the backseat while Checked Out Mom stares at her screens and waits for the minimum wage worker to trundle over their groceries.

Never have to leave my car.

Sounds awful.

My kids learn a lot when we shop together.

We’ll keep using the pickup spots, thanks.

learn stuff like disregarding signs/rules etc…?

Like knowing the difference betw a rule and a “rule.”

Nice try, though.

Or how to spell?

Oh my goodness. A wit so sharp it cuts to the bone.

It is a regular spot. it's meant for cars not horses.

Hey, JD Vance! Looking for someone to bully again. Tell your boss to give you more work.

I really do think that the lack of exercise is affecting your mental health.

So not legally enforceable so who cares who you are inconveniencing right? You sound lovely.

Sorry, if its 50/50 between me being inconvenienced vs. you, I choose me every time.

Its not like parking in a handicapped spot. This is for the store's convenience, and yours. Not mine.

You are an entitled loser and a jerk. It's amazing that you do this and don't even understand how the pickup works. Try double parking behind an empty car and use that space number if you don't impede other traffic.

Target has two long rows reserved for pick up. There is never anyone in them. I wouldn’t park there but it seems like poor customer service. They also don’t have self checkout open anymore when o go and the checkers are so slow so I really try to just over order from
amazon now.

+2. I’ve given up on Target. Between the empty “reserved for pick up” spaces, closing the self-checkout line after years of forcing people to use it (“oh, people were stealing”—no s*it, Sherlock, nobody saw that coming) and, my personal favorite, get a $15 Target gift card for spending $50 on household items. However, I buy $100 worth and can’t get 2 $15 cards unless the cashier splits it into two transactions. Which the cashier does upon request. However, it’s poor customer service. Why not just take $15 (or $30) off the bill? Why bother with the gift cards (which also can’t be used in the same transaction to lower the bill)?

because a large percentage of gift cards don't get used.

I mostly hate the ones outside restaurants. We didn't have those before Covid, even though people did take out. Why do we still need them?

The ones outside of restaurants are the necessary ones. Tons of people doing take-out. No available parking spots then is actually a hassle.

Anonymous wrote:This gets me irrationally angry. I’ve seen it in so many places and the entitlement is just gross.

So many times I have gone for my weekly sams club pickup and there are no pick up spots available-then i’m waiting in a regular spot and notice that many of the cars in the pick up spots are empty. Why? All the time at target too.

I just don’t get it. I have so much to do today and of course that’s the case today. I am amazed by how many people think that they things don’t apply to them.

Just a rant-so many people just really don’t consider others.

How old are you OP? I'm guessing born 1955 or before *eyeroll* If parking and waking distances are such an issue, you ought to have a handicap plate and/or tag.

Exactly. Unless it is punishable by an actual law (handicap spots) it's available.

Use the gift cards online when you have enough for free shipping.
