He is such a narcissist to claim credit for everything - changing NAFTA, creating the tariff mess only to "solve" it, and this as but three examples of hundreds. Yet the MAGAs and the media seem to fall for it every time.

Meanwhile, the Energy and Commerce House Committee's plan starts off by eliminating the provision that assists 10 million Medicare enrollees with premium, deductible, and copay costs for Medicare A and B as well as part D drug plans.

There are very few US manufactured drugs. 80% of generic drugs are made outside of the US. Most US pharmaceutical companies have their manufacturing in Mexico, China, and India. And for the same reasons as why all other manufacturing moved outside the US: it's cheaper & there are fewer labor rules.

Actually, the Trump administration promulgated a regulation requiring MFN pricing for most drugs. It was due to be implemented in 2021. One of the Biden administration's first acts was to withdraw that regulation and then Biden signed the EO.

Why is this thread still going? The announcement was a joke. Drug prices aren’t going down. Trump did the bait and switch on the media again and they fell for it like they always do.
