+1 and that working class American citizens should pay for their support |
See the table in this link: https://www.cato.org/blog/illegal-alien-one-many-correct-legal-terms-illegal-immigrant
I wish I knew how to post an image of the table - maybe another poster can help. |
No Democrats think that, because it is completely illogical and impossible. Typical MAGA extremist nonsensical magical thinking. |
No human is illegal…..
But their immigration status may be…. Deport them. |
Can you even speak without accusing posters? I voted for Hartis and can't stand Trump. Nonetheless, we cannot absorb every person who wants to immigrate here. And, yes, taxpayers who work ARE supporting them. Who do you think pays school taxes for families with 4+ kids? Not poor immigrant families crammed into Section 8 housing. |
What limits have Democrats proposed? |
Please call them undocumented immigrants. That's accurate. Human beings are not "illegal." They are undocumented. |
Here is the problem and I sincerely think you don’t know this. It’s not “criminal” to enter the US illegally or to overstay your visa, just like it’s not criminal to do a 50 in a 35. |
+1 don't forget the hospital bills. Glad to hear they're not going to be taking up housing vouchers anymore. It's been long overdue to share this information for deportations. It's crazy that they have declared to the government that they are here illegally but still receiving benefits. They should also check parent birth place information on every birth certificate issued. |
This statement is stupid and most Americans don’t agree that no human is illegal. The progressives really need to shut up on this one if they want Dems to have any chance of winning. |
But illegal is different than criminal. It’s illegal to turn right on red sometimes but it’s not criminal. |
Dems are overwhelming favorites to have success against the GOP in 2026 & 2028 thanks to Trump being the sitting POTUS. Were you alive from 2017 to 2020? Wash, rinse, repeat. Try harder this time. |
Exactly. The PPs that keep using the word "illegal" seem to think it means "criminal" when it comes to immigration status. In fact, it's a civil matter, not a criminal one. Here are the facts: *Entering the U.S. without inspection (e.g., crossing the border without a visa or going through a port of entry) is a violation of immigration law—but it’s not a criminal offense in most cases. It’s a civil violation, similar to overstaying a visa. *Overstaying a visa (which is how a large number of undocumented immigrants become undocumented) is also a civil infraction, not a criminal one. So, while being in the country without proper documentation is a violation of immigration law, it’s not the same as committing a crime like theft or assault. And importantly, seeking asylum—even without a visa—is legal under both U.S. and international law. In short: 👉 Being in the U.S. without a valid visa is a legal issue, but it’s not necessarily a criminal one. 👉 The term “illegal” is not a legal classification and is discouraged by many legal and human rights organizations. |
'It’s not “criminal” to enter the US illegally' just illegal. By the way, your point is no longer accurate. All non-citizens in the US who do not have green cards are required to register with the government, as of a week ago. All these people are now in criminal violation. |
Most agree with his immigration actions. |
