The guy is most likely dead.

If that happens, this administration should be charged with his murder. What they have done is reprehensible.

But he’s a brown immigrant with tattoos so according to MAGA this isn’t our problem.

I hate them so much.

The attorneys should be held in jail for contempt until the individual is returned to the US.

I keep wondering how the gay makeup artist from Venezuela who was sent to the same jail is faring. Even Joe Rogan said his case was "horrific."

There is a link on the thread about Venezuelans sent to CECOT that will horrify you even more. They are putting thugs in charge of the decision making process.

I fear Garcia is never coming back because he's already left this earth.

He is not coming back because he is an illegal immigrant who is being deported.

@Shipwreckedcrew has an idea. Send him to the US embassy, and have an immigrant judge hear his case.
He won withholding of removal because of a gang that was allegedly threatening him.

Since then El Salvador has imprisoned the gangs, so the threat is largely gone. They can pull the withholding of removal, and then send him out the door of the embassy.

Trump is too weak to get him back.

Did El Salvador imprison the gangs in the same prison the US sent him to? So, the US sent him to a horrific death? But, you’re ok with that because he’s brown?

Has the administration affirmatively declared knowledge that he is still alive?

I sadly suspect they are fighting this so much because he is already dead or close to death.

They don't want to let him out because then there would be a witness to the horrific conditions they are sending innocent people to.

Both maybe. This isn’t America anymore if we allow this to continue.

Government efficiency at its finest, they can’t even find him to bring him home. This is a disgrace, I hope he is alive and safe and sues the crap out of the government.

The regime thinks it's being cute here, but taking the position they can't get him back is going to kill their efforts to send anyone else there. Every other person who might get sent there will be able to point to this in their own habeas cases. In fact, they are already doing that and judges are citing this case as the basis for enjoining the regime from transferring anyone else.
