Personally, I would prefer to see a balancing of our states in terms of sizes. EG bust up California and Texas. Amalgamate those small east coast states like Rhode Island and Delaware.

Generally, we need to get away from these political borders that were drawn by European governors who didn't even have a decent map. Maryland-Delaware makes no sense. Why do we still have Lord Calvert's coat of arms as a flag. Talk about the person that started the once a slave always a slave convention.
