S/O: Do Trump supporters actually support the annexation of Canada and Greenland?

Yes, I also want my neighbors house and cars. But, I can’t just demand it take them. It’s pretty simple.

If I really, really wanted them, I could communicate that to them directly including the details and conditions of that transfer. I’d get arrested if I went to their house and demanded or used a show of power or violence.

There are rules that govern these things. That’s why many people are upset about countries invading other countries!

The poll you referenced says 51% support Greenland annexation, 49% against. Also most native Greenlanders 60% roughly, support annexation as a territory.

Think about it, how would you feel if Mexico decided to take the US in order to expand its territory?
And as much as I would love to be Canadian right now, most Americans would understand that Canada annexing the US in order to expand its territory would be a major violation of international law.

We can help guard the territory without owning it. Blatant aggression and selfishness. Our attitude thus far is “we’ll own you.” Would you be happy with that if you were Greenland? Well, we used to have something called “NATO”, such that member nations agreed to provide mutual defense if attacked. So, yes, if China attacked Greenland, Denmark could call on the US and other allies to defend it. But of course Trump has effectively scuttled NATO so now nothing at all would hinder China or Russia from invading if they do desired. So great going once again MAGA!

There isn't any analogy in sovereign territories and property. Corporations go to war over property, but sovereign borders. Come on in, no problem. I mean I wish people treated our borders like their property, but they don't.
