Why would VDA explode? They have been doing well especially in older age groups. I think BP is reshaping things and will pull all his connections.

If you have been around soccer in the DMV you would know things change really quickly- Clubs blow up, teams follow coaches to new clubs, etc. The only consistent thing is drama, hurt feelings and kids getting screwed.

My player is moving to ARL from another club. They ran a solid ID process, coaches were communicative, player got clear view into how they fit with team. Overall miles better than other local clubs. Club seems to have their act together. Seems to be the only stable club in the area that has solid college results and isn’t changing leagues, forming random alliances or changing everything around each season.

Arlington feels like the only normal club left in this area. Probably because they have a great financial position and don’t have to invite all the chaos in like others.

good coaches for both genders, good Technical staff, good fields and no stupid ‘alliances’ to distract.

They also have really good college placement

Arlington doesn’t need an alliance. They have the most players of any club in nova.

Agree with this but average for ECNL is pretty good.

I am not sure I would say it is "average". If your goal is P4, yeah, they are middle tier. But if you mix in academic as well as P4, then they are pretty good. In the last two years you have at least 3 Ivy and a shit ton of super high academic schools (Georgetown, USC, Vandy, Hopkins and too many top tier D3 schools to name).

For parents in this area, they'd willingly trade the scholarship money for the admissions ticket.
