It's just math to say a $100 ticket is a greater percentage of a low income than a high income, but I'm not sure (and neither are you, apparently), how you get from that to how different people actually feel about getting a ticket. The world doesn't work according to your stereotypes. |
And you are a stupid thuggie. |
It's the same fine. It is not more severe. In fact, it has the same level of severity. |
I do. And so do you. You're just being dumb and dishonest. Arguing dumb semantics. |
FFS read the thread before repeating the same dumb nonsense. If you're even capable of reading. |
It does seem very difficult for you to understand. Justice is supposed to be blind and equal. Government is supposed to treat people the same. |
Physician heal thyself. |
A Trump takeover maybe wouldn't be so bad! |
And now it finally is. That's the part that YOU don't get. |
We already know you're MAGAT. You don't need to spell it out. |
It would be great if we started ticketing people according to how much of a threat they actually posed to public safety. |
They place speed cameras in areas with less density. Those tend to be less expensive and poorer areas. |
Part of the problem is that in an urban area, high speed chases (or in the case of the ATV's using nail strips) can, many times, cause more traffic deaths. |
No it isn't. What you aggressively defend is, by definition, neither blind nor equal. Just because you are getting ever more angry does not change that fact that having different punishments for the same transgression based on the transgressors individual characteristics is inherently unequal. |
You don’t live in DC, do you? |
