Money won't ever increase test scores. Banning phones in schools (and limiting them after school) plus daily parental involvement in kids' academics, especially ES and MS, are the bare minimum foundation of academic achievement.
Knowledge is definitely power here. Start saving as soon as your kid is born - max as much as you can to college savings plan. |
Just because you don’t know what they do doesn’t mean they don’t do anything. If you were knowledgeable in this area, you would know how big of a problem this is. |

Well we as a country would benefit from more educated people. My family will be fine--we value education and we can afford private if needed. But I'm smart enough to know that we need everyone educated to be a highly functioning society. Imagine how much worse Mississippi will be without fed govt oversight |
The deep red states were already doing this and yes will continue to do more. They truly like their voting populace to be as uneducated as possible. |
