She looks great, women are more than who they marry.

I think Vance will resist any pressure to do appearances she doesn’t want to do, and will get a sane stylist who will keep her in quality designer wear, and that’s that. She’s in great shape but isn’t going to be a Lara Trump tacky twin, and she doesn’t seem susceptible to getting her face rotated like Melania. We’ll see!

I don’t think she is nasty. We are just one degree of Kevin Bacon and everyone says they were both (JD, too) very nice and normal.

Power can do crazy things to people. Too bad, because they could have done a lot of good.

As Stephen Sondheim wrote, “nice is different than good.” We’d all do well to remember that.

I’m sure she has protocol people now so I’m surely wrong?

White is a mourning color in the Hindu religion. (I don't know if that is why she chose it but it seems likely it would be a reason.)

Oh I guess that makes sense.

Appreciate that you can actually own up to being one of the minions sent here. If she was kind and gracious she wouldn’t be married to an a hole but I’ll take your word for it I guess.

For the record she doesn’t look elegant at all. She looks like a little girl playing dress up. Why sloppy, muddy riding boots with that coat?

Where is the mud on her boots? Also, it's wet and muddy out, so plausible she stepped in something (but I don't see that in these photos).

The bottom fit is so much more flattering, and the overall look is much better. I don't know what she's punishing her own boobs for, though -- I feel like I'm an unwilling participant in something. But otherwise lovely.

She may be uncomfortable with accentuating them/wearing a more pushup style. That's my take on it.

No, it's that the pushup style she wears gives her hangover fat at the sides, by her armpits. She's not a chunky person, so it's a strange choice -- why not wear a fitted but still relatively flat chest that doesn't squeeze what she has into her armpits? I don't get it.

+1 This level of overspill in a custom garment almost suggests someone was deliberately doing her dirty. It's not a hard area to fit, and a reputable designer should've done better.

Absolutely. I actually wondered which designers would do anything custom for this nauseating group of people. Subtle sabotage is hilarious though.

All the tech people are now on the Trump train. Who cares if someone makes a freakin dress for Usha or Melania? FFS that is so minor.

The black dress is Oscar de la renta.

She’s got a nice figure. I assume she’ll get a stylist and have a glow up. It might be fun to watch her transform.

I’m the one who initially shared disdain for the Chua/Rubenfeld crew. You I love, and this quote is terribly on point.

The white coat is lovely on Usha. The boots - I think a burgundy pair, less loose and rumpled in fit, would have better suited the occasion and her outfit.

I think it's not so much the veer into Politics but the thinskinned reporters hitting report report and playing the race card. Boring.

I can't figure out why they care so much about Usha! They aren't in the other Trump women thread freaking out about Melania being called a slut.

Let’s keep it to fashion. I did not mind the pp who spoke of why her strapless dress didn’t fit. This is also about tailoring and is quite interesting. The thread about the Trump women fashion spoke of this too and is quite clever and funny. Keep it light people!
