You mean "How are they going to get it with no boys program"?

Would MLSN consider the track record of their oldest team - the NCSL division 7 combined U14 2011/2012 team?

NVA possesses a strong a proven track record of success. Their entry into MLS Next, potentially including their highly regarded Girls program in the GA platform, would be a logical and impactful choice for the league.
no that would be the boys club acknowledging they cant bring the girls up to previous RA standards and taking the kneww and running away. Would be a trash move abandoning the girls and would speak to the lack of interest and know how to build up the girls product.

Plus acknowledging revolution is on their heels….

How’s it different from Revolution? I don’t recall reading or hearing from coaches who show up smelling like lettuce or bragging about drinks on the job

I put my bet on Revolution!

Goodness I hope not. The parents are the biggest crybabies in the whole DMV. Their helicopter parents flip out when their beloved children get spanked on the pitch or in futsal.

But they got a bar tho, so silence poor peasant!

Aim high…

I think with today's announcement for MLSN Tier 2 or whatever they call it, NVA is best positioned over the Loudoun clubs. They have the ability to put a team in MLSN and MLSN2 and girls would go to GA.

Dude with a camera name is big mad with this

The MLS Next brand is going to keep growing every year. More and more clubs will ditch ECNL and jump on the MLS Next train. NVA will be the first big club to make the switch. They'll become a powerhouse overnight. Sure, some ECNL girl parents might freak out at first, but in a couple of years, they'll see how smart NVA was for making this move to MLSN + GA.

Does anyone have any insight on whether they actually applied or just assumptions based on old rumors?

Just assumptions by people wanting to stir the pot. I do believe that Rev has applied. It's well known they have been trying to elevate the boys side the last few years.

It all comes down to which is the priority.....boys or girls?

Boys: MLSN > ECNL (or anything else)
Girls: ECNL > GA (or anything else)

Which program do you prioritize? If you can't do Boys MLSN/Girls ECNL (which is the ideal pairing) and you have to choose MLSN/GA or ECNL/ECNL, the answer for a club lies in their priority (or whichever has the higher $$$s).

You clearly dont get it.

NVA is playing the long game. They're looking two years down the road. If they think MLSN + GA will be the bigger deal than ECNL + ECNL, they'll make the switch. They're not thinking about what's best right now, they're thinking about what's going to be the winning move in the future.
