You saw it here first. Tears will be shed. Some with joy and excitement, others with bitterness and resentment. |
Do the girls still stay in ECNL? |
You can't be with ECNL if you have MLS Next. |
Wasn't there a thread on this early summer and it didn't happen at the start of the season. |
Tell that to Bethesda and countless other clubs. |
Fake news
https://www.mlssoccer.com/mlsnext/application/ Thank you for your interest in applying to MLS NEXT. The 2025/26 MLS NEXT Expansion application has not opened yet. The Expansion application will be open soon |
LS fake player development. It's all a numbers game with LS. More kids, more money. |
+1 |
Yet someone with money came and made another club inspired in life’s revolutions. The difference is the former has been around for decades and the latter is just existing because of a local Medici. When the matrix pulls the plug only one will be standing. |
Wouldnt surprise me. They aren't getting talent pool for boys. And starting to become a joke. |
If DC United actually becomes a DC team than it makes total sense. |
Over the 46 years LS has been around, what professional/national player have they developed? |
I don’t think that matters. DCU isn’t pulling players from LS unless top talent so it really isn’t impacting the areas talent pool. DCU kids come from all over the area. The only thing in common is the location where they train and play. It’s possible the league is trying to establish a presence there and at the moment LS has better talent pool than Revolution. If true, wonder what would happen to the girls. GA doesn’t make sense since that area is already saturated for GA. |
Griffin Yow stuck around for a few years and then went elsewhere. |
And that is exactly the reason, why they can't. If they do, they will lose tons of female players, since is well know that at the moment ECNL > GA. |
