VDA

As well as the other strong 5 Vda holdovers that get a lot of playing time as well. So Vda would definitely not be as strong without these fcv additions.

Didn’t realize that many FCV players came in the 06/07 age group. Thanks for the info.

1 has not played at all due to injury. 2 have been injured for the majority of the season. 1 barely played until injuries started to become an issue in the team. Now she plays out of position. 3 do normally start. 2 of 3 play 100% of the game.

I think more than 5 returning VDA players make an impact.

So if those were healthy, they would start over BP’s fcv girls? I am not sure I would agree with that. They may be good players, but would not make the same impact that I saw the few times I saw this team play. Sorry if you don’t agree but BP has made a positive impact and brought over very strong players and it looks like ML agrees.

Not sure who you are, but please stop. We are all happy to have BP. I think PP’s point is that BP came to a great club and made it better.

Exactly. Not sure why people don't agree with this.

I don’t have a daughter, I have three boys. I’ve come across a few of the FCV girls teams parents over the years. What a crew. I’m happy this BP guy finally had a chance to get away from y’all.

I guess winning FIVE Mid-Atlantic conference titles wasn't due to the team. Sure bucko... There are talented girls who came from FCV, but please settle down if you think that's the whole team. The U18 VDA team has many years of dominance in Mid-Atlantic... this year is just a normal year for VDA.

Nobody is denying how talented that VDA team was, but with that many departures off to college after last season that team wouldn't be the same without the bump from incoming players. You can agree or don't but if you look at who left and who came in, that team wouldn't be the same. There's nothing wrong with agreeing about that and it's how soccer works sometimes.

Do you think the 2011 and 2012 teams will move higher over the next few years? Curios if any Union or Arlington kids move over.

Yes, incoming players have helped. Two of which are outstanding frankly. Absent their USYNT player, they've stepped up to make team whole for sure. VDA for girls will become a destination and it feels like Union and VDA are slowly becoming the two teams you'll want to consider. Competition, coaching, and recruitment are all in place at both clubs. It's good for the area, imo. DC metro area has more clubs than any other metro, even though it's not even close to the biggest.

VDA parents were such garbage this weekend. Picking fights with the opponent parents in a game they already won. Such poor sportsmanship.

Go away. You’re probably the same one who can’t stop mentioning VDA coaches and teams.
