both can be true...they went undefeated and didn't make the final because they lost on a tiebreaker...the sky isn't falling, they got unlucky |
|
Loudoun younger teams played to high and got destroyed like normal. Byrc and Valor played down for wins, Bethesda and SYC both played horribly in the younger years, the North East and West teams did what they normally do, spanked the DMV.
Another year, same bs but with Revolution teams thrown in randomly that either over performed or got absolutely destroyed like Loudoun. Wtg DC! |
| Looks like Arlington 2011 had 3 teams this year. 3rd team beat a GA team and 2 RL teams to make finals in one of the middle brackets. Surprised none of the GA fans mentioned that. |
What was the tie breaker? They seemed even head to head etc. Did they get down to 5th tiebreaker/shutouts? that bracket was very good. Well done Arlington, Bethesda and all the competition! |
Arlington and RFA were dead even in all categories so the group winner had to be decided by PK's. Even in the last match both teams won by the same score lines keeping the goals scored tie breaker even. |
| Alexandria had a rough weekend. Some of those rankings should shake up |
12's? I think they're havin growing pains in general this season, even in EDP playing a year up they're trying to hang in there but the results could be worse. |
| the Alexandria 2009s have lost some of their power too |
That's why nobody talks about Armour... |
This couldn’t be more misguided and a gross summarization of baseless nonsense. |
| This is the first meaningful big event after teams have gotten to practice and play together for a couple months. How did your daughters team do? Happy for takes on this event or NC Showcase |
Their coach needs to get the parents under control. My daughter played them and I have seen the gamut of east coast (NJ) behavior, but their parents were over the top |
I agree. Surprised the coach puts up with it |
Not so much growing pains but dealing with the departures of 3 players to ecnl clubs. |
Maybe that's why the parents are projecting on the sidelines... |
