| Wow, most readers have ADHD. This thread was about predictions and somehow converted into tournament flexing. |
In Bobby we trust! |
Even when FCV was the only GA club in northern VA and the best club in the Mid-Atlantic, they still didn't pull large number of ECNL players. It was mostly ECNL players looking for more minutes or RL players looking for a top team. Now there is 3 GA clubs in northern VA and none of them will be as good as FCV was, so GA teams will only continue to pull ECNL players looking for more minutes or RL players looking for a top team. |
Why don’t you ask your club’s staff instead of complaining on an anonymous forum? |
The majority of the top east coast teams aren’t playing wags. That was true 10 years ago and might be true for 9v9 but not u13 and older. |
| What are older teams doing this weekend? It looks like ECNL showcase is just for younger teams. |
| The older girls aren't in season yet MD and further parts north, so you need to be asking where are the Carolina and Georgia teams? |
So where are the Carolina and Georgia teams and Virginia teams that aren’t going to WAGS? Not playing or is there something else going on? |
| VDA is scurrrrred |
Nope. |
The NC and Georgia girls ECNL teams are playing in the ECNL NC event this weekend. Richmond, Beach are also playing in ECNL NC instead of WAGS. |
| My prediction is that these tournaments (WAGS and Jeff Cup included) will continue to slide into inconsequential nothingness as ECNL hosts more and more ECNL events and showcases. |
At least Jeff Cup still has an extensive list of college coaches that attend. |
Looks like 2011 FVU is in the 3rd division. Interesting |
They should be in the top division. |
