Why is Arlington's ECNL RL U13 girls team playing in the I bracket? There are other RL teams in much higher brackets. They're 3-1-1 in a league play, pretty comfortably near the top of the standings.

For most tournaments, teams indicate the level (usually Top, Mid or Bottom) then the tournament coordinator does the initial placing/seeding based on that as well as their own “analysis”. And finally coaches have a chance to request an adjustment and typically need to provide rationale.

Long way of saying the tournament coordinator must have thought they belonged in I bracket and the coach was fine with it.
