For those over 50….i feel like the criticism from certain people on the left is not that dissimilar to what happened in the late 80s and early 90s during the intifada. I remember people selling keffiyah at swap meets along with like the no nule t-shirts and a lot of criticism of Israel from the left. One difference is that there were a lot fewer Muslims in the U.S. back then so it perhaps didn’t amplify outside the far left circles. But it was definitely a thing on college campuses among the left. Does no one else remember that?
I also feel like it was different because a lot of my Jewish friends had significant vocal reservations about the Israeli response to the intifada, and were really pushing for a peace process. Because of the horror of 10/7, I think that’s a harder position to take now. |

American Jews are causing this tragedy.
the US would not be giving so much support to Israel/Zionism without American Jews driving the financing. will not find this info from Ms Rubin. Under the guise of charitable donations, tens of millions of dollars are regularly sent to Israel in the form of "tax-deductible gifts for Jewish settlement in the West Bank and East Jerusalem," the New York Times reported. Much of the money, falsely promoted as donations for educational and religious purposes, often finds its way to funding and purchasing housing for illegal settlers, "as well as guard dogs, bulletproof vests, rifle scopes and vehicles to secure (illegal Jewish) outposts deep in occupied (Palestinian) areas." Quite often, US money ends up in the Israeli government's coffers under deceptive pretenses. For example, the latest Stimulus Package includes $50 million to fund the Nita M. Lowey Middle East Partnership for Peace Funds, supposedly to provide investments in "people-to-people exchanges and economic cooperation ... between Israelis and Palestinians with the goal of supporting a negotiated and sustainable two-state solution." Actually, such money serves no particular purpose, since Washington and Tel Aviv endeavor to ensure the demise of a negotiated peace agreement and work hand-in-hand to kill the now defunct two-state solution. https://www.commondreams.org/views/2020/12/31/us-money-tree-untold-story-american-aid-israel |
How? Schools are suppressing Jewish opinion while welcoming all the anti-Israeli protests. And not just universities; it is the high schools too: https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-jersey-high-school-allegedly-banned-yellow-ribbons-honoring-israeli-hostages-deeply-offensive |
The PP asked you about “LWNJs” who are antiSemitic. Look no further than D.C.’s own Councilman Trayon White, who is an antiSemite, under a federal corruption indictment, but who the democrats still back and will likely re-elect next month. Or Louis Farrakhan and his entire movement. |
| Jewist people voting for Trump are just as despicable as anyone else who does. |
Actually, the PP asked if that was who I was referring to. Except I was not referring to people like Trayon White, who is definitely an antisemitic nut job, too. |
The bolded part is not true — American Jews are a tiny sliver of the electorate, and without massive support for Israel from conservative Christians and also mainstream politicians who have (at least until recently) generally seen Israel as a useful U.S. ally in the region, would not be able to sway U.S. policy on their own. It's definitely a problem that tax-deductible donations can support groups that fund and back illegal settlements, but that's a tiny sum compared to official U.S. transfers of arms and other aid, anyway. But if you'd rather believe that Jews are controlling American politics with all our money, I suppose that's fine, too. |
OK, THIS poster definitely doesn't like Jews. "They are parasites." Having a flag doesn't mean you support every single thing that the nation with that flag does, of course. I don't disagree with your general critique of the way Israel has seized Palestinian land, though I don't know if your specific percentages are correct. But there are several times more Palestinian people living within Israel or Israeli-controlled boundaries today than there were in 1947, so I don't know that I agree that your land stats alone support your claim of genocide. In 1947 there were about 1.5 million Palestinians. Today there are more than 5 million. |

The far left is only a small subset of the Democratic base, just like the far right is only a small subset of the Republican base. |

I am an agnostic/non-observant Christian married to an agnostic/non-observant Jew. I have never understood the conflict in the middle east and now that I'm mid 40's I'm starting to accept that I never will.
Why can't everyone just get along? No strip of land is worth all this. |
Well you don't think its true, I think its true, so nothing else to say. You are not going to convince me, I am not going to convince you. |
Have you seen an aerial view of Gaza lately? |
No because there is a complete lack of acknowledgment of the other sides pain. It’s like it does not exist. |
And that is ENTIRELY the result of the actions of the Jews. Their barbarism against the Palestinians makes civil relations with Jews untenable. |
