The way it works is like this: Trump nominates Judge Cannon for the Supreme Court. Senator Hogan hems and haws and expresses concerns and misgivings. If his vote is needed, Hogan comes under immense pressure and eventually caves. If his vote is not needed, Hogan is given permission to vote no to show how “independent” he is.

This process is called “The Susan Collins”.

DP and I agree. It’s not well known enough that Hogan is a developer from a family of developers. And he used a ton of state transportation money to improve infrastructure where his developments are.

I haven't read through all of this, but I just wanted to say that, after watching pieces of the DNC this week, I am voting for Hogan. I frankly don't think I can vote for any D's this election.
