Seems to have been at lower levels of the age groups. The bearded USL players probably would not have been able to pull that one off, even with a fresh shave.

I don't see any VISTA teams that lost by almost double digits in their Saturday games and then won on Sunday.

What other "independent" teams are there?

Some folks take every little win or loss way too seriously
They focus more on the score than how their kid played

None of these tournaments are great. Louden Premier and Dulles are the better tournaments, but mostly just being used to shore things up for the season. A lot of kids are still traveling, so attendance is always an issue. Dulles is better because it’s after school starts, so families are in town. My DC’s team did not have core team in attendance for Louden, but still placed well. Some pretty sad performance by teams you would expect to be better (offseason drama seems to have hit some clubs as hard as this message board implied *cough*MYS*cough*).

I'd feel bad for the kids at MYS but their parents make it enjoyable.

LOL!!!

DS's team played the 2013 MYS team in the final and they were a very strong team.

Somebody already mentioned VISTA, that was clearly one of those who brought a few older players on day 2. I think they still lost in the u10 championship, but everybody noticed it, just nobody said anything. Not sure anybody cared except the parents. 😂
