Question for someone who knows: is there anything voters can do to actually convince Biden to step aside?

Like it or not, I think that Democrats and much of the media have actually helped to strengthen Trump because he's seen as a warrior who gets everything thrown at him but keeps getting back up. Many people have admiration for him because they think he's been treated unfairly. They identify with him.

Yes, but one candidate wins and one loses. America is not going to be lost or destroyed if your choice doesn’t win. Or mine. Everyone wants their children to have good lives.

The Supreme Court has now trashed our reproductive rights, our airline safety, clean air and water, the FDA's ability to decide which meds are safe and not, and so much more. I think there is one way it gets much worse, and one way we have a chance of keeping the country we love.

+1 dude can take an ass kicking and get back up and carry on like no other.

I guess if by taking an ass kicking you mean whining and blubbering like a toddler. When did it become desirable to be a crying sore loser?

He complains about his treatment, and his supporters agree with him. That's not the same as whining and blubbering. Most people would not be standing after all the assaults. I'm no fan but can certainly appreciate his determination and ability to keep going.

He is the whiniest loser I have ever encountered in my entire life

Nate Silver has been telling Biden to drop out since 2020

Are you so sure about that? That America is not going to be destroyed? I’m not. I think that’s exactly what many of us fear.

If our country withstood the Civil War, and it did, I don’t believe that electing a president through free and fair elections will bring us down. That’s what is supposed to happen every 4 years.

America has two major parties that have different platforms, and that’s a good thing. Sometimes democrats win the presidency and sometimes republicans win the presidency. That’s a good thing and a normal thing.

We’ve never had a single party in our country. We’ve had presidential elections every 4 years. America has never been destroyed and in fact it’s the way it’s supposed to work.

If someone believes their party is the only party that should exist and their party is entitled to win every election or our country is going to be destroyed, I think that’s a problem with their understanding of our country’s political system.

If bureaucrats run America, don’t worry about elections.

We are all so lucky to live in a country where we can freely express our opinions and vote our conscience.

Good for him for pointing out that the Dems have been ignoring polls for over a year. The vast majority of Americans and Democrats have been saying he’s too old for a long time.

I don’t think money is going to help Biden. What voters saw on the debate stage is worth a trillion dollars of campaign donations.

+1 I can see why foreign leaders are cautious when dealing with him. My FIL is 81 years old and a lifelong democrat. He can’t stand republicans. He will verbally spar with anyone who doesn’t like the Clintons. I don’t know how many hours I have spent listening to him rail against the republican party. He has held public office as a democrat.

The thing is, he respects Trump. I could have hit the floor when he started talking about Trump that way. He has never said one good word about a single republican for the 30+ years I have known him. I am still so stunned I don’t say anything about Trump when he talks about him. My spouse and I thought maybe he was getting dementia or something when we first heard him talking that way. He will see Trump on tv and say mmm mm. You don’t want to mess with that man. He will then pause and look into our eyes and repeat that no one should mess with Trump, they don’t know what they are up against, etc. But, he still is a democrat and still doesn’t like republicans. It’s weird.

Women should absolutely mess with trump and they will. Trump has totally disrespected our daughters and our country and we will return the disrespect. A sore loser, a rapist, a crook. Get him out of here.

Lots of women do not for very good reasons.

I am in agony waiting for Biden to possibly announce he’s dropping out. I want him to remain in the race. Supposedly he’s meeting with family at Camp David to discuss options today. Does anyone have a sense of what is going to happen? I see people say it’s too late, I see people say it’s not too late. Is it too late?
