I mean, Trump has always been mentally ill. Biden is older and frailer than he was 4 years ago, but he’s not, even now, worse than Trump.

Trump never has good days, he is only about chaos and cruelty, has a big mouth, and is old and fat. I feel much safer with Biden as President, I don’t actually believe he’s a security risk at all, whereas Trump will do whatever he wants, regardless of norms and laws, and all the yes men around him won’t stop him from carrying out his most base impulses.

This is a moot point. He can’t be removed from the ballot while he’s still president. You’re either stuck with him or Kamala but you aren’t able to run anyone new.

I don't post this to say that Biden definitely should not step down. But I think we are seeing a wave of enthusiasm - probably based mostly in terror - from Dem voters that isn't meaningless.

He had to debate, what would you have advised him to do?

Debate post-convention, as usually occurs.

And the point would be that he would be able to hide his medical problems until after he was nominated officially? That helps him maintain the lie but doesn’t help our country and the American people. Is the point to maintain power or to be an effective and capable leader?

I can’t believe the idiotic short sighted actions of supposed party leaders enabled this and now trump will win because of it! How could they possibly think this would work?
