In an environment of overpopulation that could be seen as a good thing by some. However, for those in a fortuitous position, financial able, able to provide, well, highly educated -- it's just a loss to society. A loss to the rest of us. Again, you leave nothing behind.

And on a personal level. More to love. Family lineage is a stronger bond. You aren't providing any value-added.

This is silly. Our good deeds to others absolutely do leave something behind, whether or not you have children.

For who? If children aren't made then are you doing this for the future deer population?

CF people know that the world is overpopulated. We are not going to have a shortage of children anytime soon. Adding a few less is not going to collapse society like you seem to think it is.

All societies do not have the same resources and intelligence and positive motivation. You are not being sacrificial by not having kids and instead spending that money and time in adulthood on yourself.

I didnt say anything about being sacrificial. I'm saying that good deeds we do pass on through the rest of the world even if not 100% people choose to have children. PP tried to say that because I chose not to have children that the world will collapse and we will be left with only deer. Clearly that is not true. Just another false dichotomy people throw out to try and make CF folks feel badly about our choices. It just ... doesnt work lol.

Why is it selfish to do something you don’t want to do that does not affect anyone else?

Literally the most selfish thing you can do is have kids like the world needs more of you. Come on we don't.
