I was suckered into buying from Quince so you don’t have to

I have two silk tops (one copper colored and one black) and neither are sheer. I can see a light color might be but that's true of most brands, even my much pricier L'Agence.

I like the linen sheets from Quince and I got a very cute cotton sundress this summer. The cashmere is not great, but it's good enough for the price.

Quality of Quince is completely hit or miss and depends on the item. The return policy works well though.

I have both linen button downs and cashmere sweaters. I live in them and have had no problem with returning/exchanging.

This isn't a luxury brand. Completely eat what I expect at that price point.

*get not eat. Ha!

The cashmere is not good, 100% agree with that, but the 14k gold jewelry, cotton and cotton blend sweaters, and bedding is all really good. The bedding ships directly from India.

I have the $50 cashmere v neck sweater and it's pretty good for the price. I had an everlane one that wore through the elbows in a year and was more than 2x the price. And a JMac one that never stopped pilling for 4x the price. So I figured I might as well match the price to the product. I am going to order a second one.

I bought a $300 ring with eternity style tiny diamonds. Two fell out in under two months of not even daily wear. They wanted $40 per stone to repair. Never again.

I bought the ugg slipper dupes last winter from quince and they're great. They've held up very well. I also bought the claire V dupe moyen bag and it's fine. I don't love it, but I also can't bring myself to spend $500 on the ClaireV version which looks like it belongs at Target.

I bought this collared sweater and so far am quite pleased. I sized down so it wouldn’t look too sloppy.

Not sure which Clare V bag you think is Target quality! I have four - two moyen messengers and two others - and all are in like new condition despite heavy use. Definitely worth the price IME though I have not tried the Quince dupe so can't compare fairly.

It could be that different items from Quince (even across cashmere sweaters) are made in different factories in different countries. That can result in a wide difference in quality

Banana Republic sells a men's t shirt that is sourced from different countries depending on the color. It's the same style number.
The shirts made in Vietnam are great. The ones made in Guatemala are think and shapeless.

I think it really depends on the product - definitely hit or miss.

I really, really liked the cotton quilts I bought.

The solid gold hoops are on par with Mejuri, Babygold, etc.

The cashmere was crap, I returned it, BUT I really like the cotton and baby alpaca sweaters I bought.

The underwear ripped in the wash, it was trash.

My husband has two flannel shirts that he really likes.

My puffer jacket is really lightweight and perfect for fall weather.

I returned all the pants I bought because the fit was weird, but ymmv on those

Got a great suitcase that’s held up over many many trips and a fraction of the cost of Monos. Bedding has held up great. Linen shirts are good quality. Pants also great. When things haven’t worked out, the returns are easy. Big fan.

I purchased two Mongolian cashmere dresses and two Mongolian cashmere sweaters. The garments are fine - except - if you know cashmere - you will find these Mongolian types more coarse than other cashmere clothing. I wore my sleeveless dress for the first time yesterday. It was a nice color and I wore my regular size L instead of an often used XL (when I suspect merch coming from China.) The dress was definitely NOT soft, sweet cashmere, but rather a blend, or even recycled cashmere. It was not great quality. The color choices are limited as well, but I'm not thrilled with the colors the last year in general.
In conclusion, I think we are getting what we are paying for.

I bought their silk knockoff of the Anthro Somerset and I LOVE it. It was the perfect dress for my company's holiday party and I would 100% wear it to a wedding. Definitely not sheer and I was able to steam the wrinkles out very easily. I bought it in two colors and am seriously considering keeping the one I didn't wear just in case I have another party to go to.
