I have two Quince sweaters I absolutely love - the fisherman cotton sweater, which is my greatest workhorse sweater, and a linen cardigan. I bought an oversized cable cardigan that is just too big - I should have returned it.
I wouldn't buy cashmere from Quince, that said. The proliferation of cheap, low quality cashmere is a disaster from an animal welfare and environmental perspective. I mean, there is no GOOD overconsumption - but that's a bad place to get a cheap deal. https://www.npr.org/2023/12/19/1220443873/the-uncomfortable-hidden-truths-about-cheap-cashmere You can find gently used cashmere on all the resale sites - I'd go that route. |
I have gotten pants, a cashmere sweater and a dress that I wear a lot and think the quality is great |
The men’s cashmere is substantially thicker than the women’s. I love the hoodies for airplane travel.
I also like their silk pajamas, but some colors/styles are more matte and velvety. |
Pilling is pretty easy to fix with a fabric shaver. |
No matter what I do my cashmere sweaters tend to get moth holes within a year to a year and a half, so Quince cashmere’s pics is right to me for that reason. I’d like their cotton sweaters too. |
Prices not pics

Is Quince a thing beyond Instagram ads? Or is that how everyone finds it? I am flooded with Quince ads, and that always makes me suspicious when I haven't heard of a company otherwise. |
I bought a cardigan recently that I like. It’s actually a little too warm for the summer sweater I was aiming for. I’m saving it for the fall. |
I've bought a lot of stuff from Quince and think it can be hit or miss.
Hits: - Gold jewelry (the bold hoops are the earrings I have worn every day for over two years, my daughters wear the regular mini hoops all day every day including to the pool, I have a few rings that I like, etc.) - Cotton cashmere sweaters (I wish they came in more colors) - Leather bags - Linen shorts - Lightweight puffer - perfect for DC winters - Mens fleece shirts - my husband loves these, so soft Misses: - Stretch silk runs very small and the fit is odd (on me, YMMV) - Cashmere sweaters are thin and get holes easily (but then again, so did the ones I bought from Nordstrom at twice the price) - Cashmere wrap sweater was such a weird, boxy shape - Performance leggings - weird, shiny, thin fabric, I hated it |
I agree that things are hit and miss, and some are personal preference.
I like their: silk pajamas. They are dupes of Lunya and I don’t absolutely love the style, but for pajamas I don’t really care. Cotton modal tees (for basic tees) Cashmere short sleeve sweaters Bike shorts Workout top (don’t remember what style is called) I don’t like their leggings, and I like the thickness of their joggers but mine pilled on the inside. |
Or a cashmere comb. Amazon sells them. |
I love the cotton sweaters and dresses that I have from Quince.
But I would not buy cheap cashmere from anywhere. |
I bought the tiered sleeveless sundress last year. Love it and get lots of compliments. |
Pilling isn't fixing, it is a process of destroying the garment slowly over time. The sweater isn't regenerating like skin on our face. Sweaters should not pill in the first place |
Quince sells one, LOL! |
