I was suckered into buying from Quince so you don’t have to

Has anyone tried the Ponte pants? What did you think?

I love all the cotton and linen quince products I've gotten, but cashmere is just too high maintenance for me.

A friend recommended quince to me. I love their cashmere sweatpants (tho they run short). I have a linen dress and as sweater I like too). But some of their stuff runs weird (pointe pants). I think the quality is like Loft- not forever items but not disposable either.

I bought them, they are meant for someone with a long torso that looks good in high waisted pants. That's not me, so they didn't work. The fabric felt nice though, it's thick and stretchy.

Online reviews are fake or filtered.

Or as you can see from this post, some people like the stuff they buy from Quince and some people don't.

OP here and I think there are some comments that are genuine and plenty that are fake especially on the first couple of pages. You can spot them cause they are a couple sentences and sound pretty much the same.

Some posters have pointed have mentioned very specific items that they have had good luck with so maybe if you want to take the chance on ordering go with those.

I buy the short sleeve jersey dresses. The black ones wash out too fast. The other colors are food and its very comfy, like wearing a long tshirt.

I have bought many quince items.

Muslim duvet and blanket — very soft, good quality.

V-neck tees — good cuts, nice cotton

Cashmere v-neck — weird cut, smells like a wet sheep when I sweat a little (other cashmere doesn’t do this)

Cotton v-neck — weird cut, doesn’t look quite right

Hip belt bag (fanny pack) — scuba fabric. good quality, sturdy, good sized, perfect for travel

Men’s waffle knit cashmere sweater — thick and soft but pilled horribly

gold stud earrings — fine quality

I think people are putting up with the kind of low quality you are talking about -- paper thin cashmere, see-through silk shirts, etc -- ever since the rise of fast fashion. So they get away with it because there is a market for it. But yes; it's trash. You can only wear a top like that a few times before it is a pilled mess, and forget about having it cleaned.

Not PP, but lol I assume this is autocorrect.

Their silk is super thin and not worth the $

I love all the cotton sweaters I’ve gotten from there, as well as the gold jewelry. Have never tried the cashmere.

I can't vouch for their silk or cashmere, but the cotton fisherman sweater and cotton mock neck sweaters are total workhorses in my wardrobe and have held up amazingly well. So far so good on their linen, too.

I wear the ponte pants most days to work. They're very comfortable and look professional (enough) for my office.
