Thank you! Confirms my skepticism of DTC Instagram brands. |
Ordered a pair of linen pants—terrible. Granted they are white, but they are so cheap and see through. Old Navy has better quality. |
Darn, I had placed my first order a few days ago. At least you thought the return process is easy. |
Cashmere is not hard to maintain. I buy Bompard and Johnston's of Elgin, so basically one a year on sale and add to the collection. I store them in proper cotton zip cashmere bags and freeze them for a few days each spring so never had moth damage.
They barely pill and I've had some for a decade and you can ship them back for repair; the lost art of not wasting money on fast fashion. My 10 year old ones look very much like new and they definitely are worth it in how they look and feel. |
10 is a lot of cashmere sweaters! One every year? |
If it seems too good to be true … |
I ordered linen sheets and down pillows from quince and was pretty happy |
Can you recommend one? I have more of a comb and it doesn't do much |
I have been happy with all my quince purchases but I don’t buy their cashmere. |
There was a big article in maybe the NYT awhile ago about cheap cashmere and how it’s not worth it. I wouldn’t buy their cashmere but I have bought other stuff from Quince (tees, one of the cotton sweaters) and it’s decent. They do run “short” though if you are taller or have a long torso. |
I think it really depends on the product. Agree that the cashmere is crap but the jewelry and bedding are both really nice. I have had a quilt for two years that I love. |

Reporting back that I’m actually quite happy with my order! |
I like my quince sweaters a lot. TBF, I’ve never owned cashmere before. But the quince sweaters I bought are very warm and soft and I’ve been happy with them. |
